Published the list of beneficiaries for greenhouse modernization grants.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Rural Development has published the list of beneficiaries for greenhouse modernization grants within the framework of the Andalusian Rural Development Program (PDR) 2014-2020. The number of beneficiaries has reached 233, with a total amount of 14.2 million euros, covering all applications that met the regulatory requirements to access the grants.

These grants aim to address the need to modernize greenhouse operations in Andalusia through improved economic performance and optimization of energy efficiency. In addition, there has been an incentive for the renewal of greenhouses that have exceeded their useful life (10-15 years, depending on the type of greenhouse and cultivation area).

In this same line of greenhouse renewal, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Rural Development has launched the Greenhouse Renewal Plan (Plan Renove) until 2020, with a total budget of 100 million euros. The deadline for applying for grants from the first call of this Greenhouse Renewal Plan remains open until January 28.
